How do I earn Bitcoin on Tangerine?
Tangerine has a monthly prize pool that’s tied to the advertising that we sell. Players compete to earn this prize by turning the in-game item Scrap in at Outpost, Bandit Camp and The Tangerine Center. Prizes are awarded based on each players % of the total amount of scrap turned in for that block. Players will be able to use /claim in the following block to claim their portion of the rewards they earned.
Is there a minimum amount of Bitcoin I can earn?
If you deposit at least one scrap then you’ll be able to claim at least one sat in the next wipe. That being said don’t feel like you’re too late, the more scrap you turn in the more your % of the rewards pool can go up!
How do I connect my Bitcoin wallet to the server?
You won’t need to connect a wallet to receive a payment. We use the Bitcoin lightning network to handle payouts to players. To exchange our in-game representation of Bitcoin, Blood, for real world Bitcoin just type the following in chat:
/sendblood XX [email protected]
Replace XX with the amount of blood you want to convert and the address with your own lightning address.
