🔧 Tech Tree Removed — Blueprints Are Back!

The tech tree has been completely removed. Crafting is now blueprint-based only—just like the old days when every loot run mattered and every blueprint find could change your entire wipe strategy.

- Discovery Over Grinding — No more mandatory tech tree progression. Find what you need when you need it.
- Loot Tables Reworked — All items are now available around the map through natural gameplay, not artificial barriers.

For the first time in Tangerine’s history, players will no longer be able to loot other players regardless of lock state. We still encourage players to place locks on all items for organization and clarity, but PVE rules are now enforced based on ownership, not just locks.
The Philosophy: This isn’t about removing challenge—it’s about redirecting it. Instead of worrying about other players raiding your base while you sleep, you can focus on the massive world Rust has to offer. Monument challenges, NPC encounters, resource management, base building, and community interaction become the heart of gameplay.

Monuments have been reworked to create a more focused and rewarding progression experience. Non-vanilla NPCs will now only spawn at select high-tier monuments: Airfield, Junkyard, Launch Site, Powerplant, Trainyard, Ferry Terminal, Water Treatment, and the Dome.
These same monuments will also be the exclusive drop sites for airdrops, creating natural hotspots for activity and reward.
